Maintenance
Important: never use liquid to clean the device. Protect it against any risks of liquid splashes. Never press the heating part on a metal part.
HOW TO CHANGE THE HEAD OF THE DEHORNER
- Put the safety pawn (Item 11)
- Remove the 2 screws ( Item2) with the key provided for that purpose.
- Remove the heating wire ( Item 1) ( you may also use flat nose pliers to pull it out but never use an object that may damage the wire or the ceramic head).
- Remove the ceramic head ( Item 3).
- Clean the 2 clamps carefully with a brush and if necessary with extrafine sandpaper ( Item 10).
- Set a new ceramic head ( Item 3).
- Set a new heating wire( Item1) without using any tool.
- Put the two screws ( Item 2) back in place with the special key (do not to use screws that do not comply with the original screws ( M2.5 * 6 Stainless steel A2 socket head cap screw).

THE HEAD:
- Regularly clean the head with a soft brush.
- Change the heating wire when deterioration occurs (every 500 cycles or 1 time a year.)
THE BATTERY:
- Do not expose the device to the heat.
- Do not leave the device right in the sun or behind a window (car trunk).
- Store the device in a moderate place (T ° above 104 ° F).
- Never store your device when the battery is discharged.
- Recharge battery every 3 months minimum.
- 18 hours required for total battery.charge
